Prattville High School principal Brock Dunn and athletic director Martin Jackson announced Mallory Durbin as the new Lady Lions Volleyball head coach. Coach Durbin graduated Prattville High School in 2013 where she played basketball and softball all four years. She then graduated from the University of Alabama in 2017 with a degree in Physical Education. and is currently finishing up her masters degree at UWA.
She comes back to Prattville after coaching the past 3 years at Marbury High School. The past 2 years she has been the head volleyball coach. Coach Durbin led the team to two consecutive second round regional appearances. She has also coached JV softball at Marbury for the past three years. Coach Dubin says, " I'm so excited to return to my alma mater where my passion for sports began!"
