Lions Will Smith Named 1st Team 7A All-State

Prattville junior Will Smith was named 1st Team 7A All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Smith batted .344 with an on base percentage of .516 and a slugging percentage of .527. He added 2 homeruns and 24 RBI's for the season. On the mound, Smith was 6-1 with an ERA of 1.87

Also joining Smith with All-State honors are catcher Mathew "Chewy" Nichols and IF/P Garner Phillips received honorable mention. Nichols batted .291 while throwing out 18 steal attempts. Phillips batted .307 with a 1.11 ERA and a .916 fielding percentage.
