The Prattville Lions Baseball Squad wins two game on Saturday over Chelsea and Northview
The Lions win Game 1 vs. Chelsea 3-2 on the strength of a 2 RBI single in the first by Cody Womble. The Lions took a 2 run lead into the 6th inning where Chelsea pushed two across to tie the game. The game then moved into extra innings where the Lions captured victory on a passed ball in the 8th. Will Smith pitched 5 and 2/3rd scoreless while going 2 for 4 at the plate.
In Game 2, Northview jumped out to a 5-0 lead. The Lions then explode for 8 runs in the 5th triggered by a three run bomb to deep center by Will Smith. The Lions then go on to win 8-5. Kyle Kramer takes the win in a relief roll with Matthew "Chewey" Nichols going 3-4 on the day.
The Lions move to 7-4 on the year and will travel to Bibb County for a double header on Monday
