Prattville Lions Baseball took part in the annual Charles Henderson Tournament in Troy this past Friday and Saturday. The Lions went 4-0 versus four south Alabama teams .
GAME 1 - Prattville 8 Saraland 3
Lions got started in the 3rd when Mason Dubose doubled, scoring two runs and Cody Womble grounded out, scoring one run. Slade Wood earned the victory on the mound giving up only three runs on five hits over five innings, striking out five. Jacob Floyd threw two innings in relief. Tice Wood and Dubose each collected two hits to lead the Lions.
GAME 2 - Prattville 10 Robertsdale 6
The Lions were down down 6-5 in the top of the ninth inning when Tice Wood doubled scoring two runs. Prattville added three more to put the game out of reach. The Lions had 9 hits in the game and committed no errors.
GAME 3 - Prattville 2 Spanish Fort 1
Will Smith goes the distance only allowing allowing four hits and one run while striking out nine and walking zero for the win. Smith also went 2-4 with 2 RBI's at the plate.
GAME 4 - Prattville 9 Ariton 7
Mason Dubose goes 2-3 with 3 RBI's and Carson Cook drives in 2 more as the Lions pull off a win in the seventh inning. The Lions scored the go ahead run on a fielders choice and added another run. They held on and Dubose got the win pitching the final 2 innings.
