The Lions put up another five runs in the sixth inning led by Brandon Butts, Cody Womble, Gavin Edwards, and Mason Dubose, who each had RBIs in the inning. Will Smith takes the win by scattering 3 runs on 3 hits and recording 6 strikeouts over 5 innings. Smith added a homerun and 3 RBI's at the plate to help his cause.
The Lions will next play Saturday Madison Academy at noon then a rematch with the Indians at 5 at Roger Lambert Field.
