Former Lion T.J. Thomas Signs With Albany State

Former Prattville Lion baseball player T.J. Thomas finished up his juco career his past season and has signed to continue his playing career at Albany State. The 2017 Prattville graduate finished up at Lawson State Community College this season with a .266 batting average, a .967 fielding percentage, and stole 14 bases which was good for 4th in the Alabama community College Conference.


On his Twitter page Thomas said, "I would first like to thank God forgiving me the abilities and opportunity to keep playing the game I love. I would also like to thank my family, teammates, previous coaches, and the coaches at Lawson State for always supporting and pushing me to be better as a player and an individual. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career at Albany State University for the next 3 years."
